3D Secure Rollout

Channel 6 Multimedia has developed and launched an embeded 3D Secure (Verified by Visa/MasterCard SecureCode) upgrade that can be seamlessly integrated in to it's customers e-commerce stores.

3D Secure is a security solution developed by Visa and MasterCard that requires shoppers to enter a password against their credit card when placing an order. It adds an extra level of security to deter fraud and protect consumers. MasterCard have made it a requirement for all merchants who process Maestro cards to have the system in place by 30th June 2007.

We have developed an implementation that works seamlessly with our customers online shops embeding the 3D secure page within their site instead of redirecting them away. This provides a much more user friendly, intuitive experience to online shoppers.

3D secure is available as an upgrade to existing sites and will be a mandatory upgrade on all new e-commerce sites developed by Channel 6.
